  Maturity: January 12 to 20 based on Commercial Harvesting dates in Hastings (10th February in Central Otago)
  Fruit Size: Large to very large
  Fruit Shape:

Round

  Skin Colour: Lightly pubescent

Internal

  Flesh Colour: White
  Flesh Texture:

Crisp and firm, stony hard gene

  Flavour:

Sweet, low acid

  Stone:

Clingstone with some reddening around the stone

Tree

  Cropping: Very productive in Central Otago with testing
  Blossom: Pink; High flower bud density
  Pollination: Male sterile, readily pollinated by other varieties flowering at same time/mid-late bloom
  Vigour: Vigorous under Hawkes Bay
  Tree Habit/Form: Suitable for training as a single leader

Notes

 

Aroma favoured by Chinese buyers.
Prune to expose the fruit to the sun to increase sugars
Sugars accumulate if fruit left on the tree as long as possible.
Requires polliniser to set crop i.e., Coconut Ice, Scarlet O'Hara.
