This is a white fleshed peach ripening slightly later than Scarlet O'Hara.

Notes

 

Southern Star has a similar appearance to Scarlet O'Hara but matures two weeks later.
It is deeper coloured and moe rounded and is slightly similar to Coconut Ice.
Southern Star can be trained as a single leader or vase shaped tree.
Thinning is required because of heavy flowering and high set fruit.
It is suited to Hawkes Bay and Central Otago.
