The Maturity Chart is a general guide for each variety of Peach. The dates are based on Commercial Harvesting dates in Hastings. If you are planting in a different district, please adjust these dates as below:
- Alexandra, Central Otago +21 days
- Marlborough +3-4 days
- Havelock +2 days
- Twyford -7 days
- BOP/Waikato +2-5 days

Southern Star has a similar appearance to Scarlet O'Hara but matures two weeks later. It is deeper coloured and moe rounded and is slightly similar to Coconut Ice. Southern Star can be trained as a single leader or vase shaped tree. Thinning is required because of heavy flowering and high set fruit. It is suited to Hawkes Bay and Central Otago.
